Obituary of Carol Elizabeth Pappas

Pappas: Carol Elizabeth With a huge loss in our hearts, Carol Elizabeth (Payne-Miller) Pappas passed away October 7th at age 86 after battling with Alzheimer’s for several years. Carol was born January 3, 1930 in Toronto and lived in Whitby for the past 26 years with her husband John. Carol will be remembered for her enthusiasm and energy to live each day full of the activities she loved best … gardening, cooking, golfing and creating a home full of laughter and love. Carol will be dearly missed by her husband of 45 years, John Pappas, her children and their spouses, Carol, Patricia, Johnny, Elizabeth, Christine and Jeffrey. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Sunday October 16th from 12:00pm until time of the Service to Celebrate Carol’s life at 2:00pm in the Chapel at DeStefano Funeral Home. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
