"Debbie" & family...I learned of Donna's passing just now (Feb. 20/2021) when online. I'm so sorry for your loss. Donna's battle is over now & she's resting peacefully, out of pain, out of harm, & basking in the love of God.
When we were children, we often got together at the cottage. Your Grandfather & Grandmother's cottage was just across the
short road from my Grandparents' cottage. Your Grandparents' cottage has long been taken down however; my Grandparents' cottage still stands, same paint, although badly peeling. We had many a good time together. My cousin was also there (David).
I also learned of the passing of your Dad, Mel who was a retired policeman. I too retired from Toronto Police 10 years ago.
Live goes on, & it goes on so very quickly.

Dear Rod and Family,
Today at 2:20 pm. I got a call from an old friend Guy Gudmundsson sharing the passing of Donna. Our hearts are broken for your loss, yet knowing her love for Jesus Christ who took our place on the cross; and through faith in Him and His resurrection on the third day; we will rise again!
The Apostle Paul writes,"When we are absent from the body, we are present with the Lord" what hope we have in Jesus.
Rod, I have such fond memories of you, Donna and your young children coming your first in the old Salvation Hall on Peel St. in Lindsay; we became instant friends and love for you and the kids is strong today.
May the Lord fill you to overflowing with PEACE that is beyond all understanding, JOY that comes the HOLY SPIRIT now and ever more.

Tom & I didn't know Donna very well, but had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times - at C4 Alpha & a very special Shire Party. Donna stands out as a very beautiful woman, physically & even more importantly, spiritually. LOVE radiated from her face. So very special!

Yes, Donna was a brave soul, we lived across the street from this amazing family and you never heard her complain during her battle and always saw evidence of the close bond you all share. Lean on each other and all supporting you to help you through this difficult time! Hi Rod and family,
