KATZ, Richard Leo

Passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Ajax Pickering Hospital.  Loving husband, best friend and soulmate of Christine.  Devoted dad of Adam(Ashley), Erin(Dave) and Joel(Kaitlyn).  Cherished grandpops of Parker, Lily and Dawson.  Devoted & loving son of Sharon and the late Zenneth.  Beloved brother of Allan(Lori), Barbara(Laib) and Joey(Tracy).  Richard will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and by his best friend Melo.  A Celebration Gathering will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, May 26th from 2:00-5:00pm.  Tributes will be shared at 2:30pm.  In memory of Richard, donations may be made to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, Lakeridge Health Whitby-Kidney Care or to a charity of your choice.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
