Shared great times with Jean she was an amazing kind hearted friend , one of a kind with great parents. She loved Haliburton and when I bought my first place Jean couldn't wait to see it . We lost touch over the Years and when we would run into each other in the Haliburton village and she would always ask me to come to her cottage to visit. I wasn't surprised when I found out she was single.....Jean was the best. And enjoy the cottage kids your mother loved the country . TERRY PROCTOR your mother in my heart forever.

Very sorry to just now hear this news. I never met Jean in person but exchanged numerous emails and a few phone calls in our professional capacities and always found her very helpful and patient when discussing anything but baseball. Her love of the Blue Jays and mine of the Texas Rangers inspired more than a little trash talk that I am going to miss. My condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.

We are so sorry for your loss. Karen and David, you are both brave souls for having the courage to stand up and share the cherished memories of your mom during the tribute. I worked with Jean for almost 8 years, Jean was always a positive person at work and I will miss her a great deal. A donation has been made from the both of us to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jean.

Last year I became a member of the Catholic woman's league, Jean was one of the members that evening that became a member too, although I did not get to know Jean very well, I do remember speaking with her.. I am so sorry to hear about her passing, and I am sure she is with the angels in heaven,, RIP Jean...................Condolences to her loved ones and friends.

My heart is with you. We worked with her for 13 years--quite a long stay these days. Your mother spoke of you both, Karen and David and her grand children and her little doggie every time we spoke. We also talked about plants and her home she was so proud of. I will miss her walking past my cubicle and saying good morning on her way in to her office. I am so glad she went on those "seniors" excursions recently and enjoyed them so much. She was very special to all of us at the office.
Good-bye dear lady. You live on in our hearts and memories.

Just a note to say how very sorry I am to hear of Jean's sudden passing.
I have worked with Jean for just a little over 10 years now. And in between our work we had many talks about the joys and the tribulations of owning a cottage. We shared a passion for our cottages and the many trips we made up to the Haliburton and Kawartha roads. We also shared a love of Farmers Markets gardening and the changing of the seasons and how each change made our cottage visits more enjoyable.
I will miss our many talks and sharing of pictures Jean.

I am so sorry for the loss of Jean and I am so sad and shocked that she passed away. I had a great work relationship with her between Germany and Canada and met her personally last year in September. She was a great personality and I will not forget her.
