Obituary of Jean McCarthy

Passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family after a short battle with cancer.  Devoted mother of Karen (Dan) and David.  Cherished Grammie of Ryan, Mason and Lauren.  Loving sister of John (Sharron) and Helena.  Dear aunt of Michael. Chris, Terry, Stephanie and the late Danny.  Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Wednesday, September 27th from 7:00-9:00pm with tributes being shared at 7:30pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 28th at 10:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 1100 Mary Street North, Oshawa.  A private family interment will take place in Haliburton.  In memory of Jean, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
