Went to Winston’s gym since the beginning he opened what is the Mecca of bodybuilding in Montreal Winston himself always something nice to say to everyone he told me great stories over the years I trained at his gym on Jean Talon. Always so generous I remember early on he let me to tape of pumping iron. Will never forget this man.

My sincere condolences to Winston Roberts family. I had your dad as my teacher at John XXIII, he was great. Also after school he help me get fit for soccer and showed me the life of bodybuilding. He will be missed and will always have a special spot in my heart.

Winston's Gym Center was my first gym that I attended to during the years of 1982-1990 and they
will always be memorable to me because it was established and given to us by a very kind and
generous heart that always looked over his flock of bodybuilders and even when Mr. Roberts was
on the road you could still sense his humble presence while working out. Winston's Gym had one
of greatest group of people as bodybuilders, friends, trainers and more with an atmosphere that
was always warm and welcoming.
To all of Mr.Winston's families my deepest sympathies... wishing everyone good strength.

My since condolences to Winston's family, I just learned of his passing. Like many who have left condolences, Winston touched my life in a very positive way. Not only was he a friend and bodybuilding mentor but he also introduced me to the woman who I eventually married. It is with a heavy heart that I that I write this, he is truly missed and the world has lost an amazing human being. Mentor and friend to countless people, RIP and I am sure he will be getting those angels into competition shape before long!

My sincerest condolences to your family. I only heard of his passing this morning when I ran into someone who I trained with back in the day. I met Winnie in the mid-80's and trained at his gym on Jean Talon for a number of years. A great person to talk to and he was always very encouraging. Many of us will miss him dearly.

I just heard of Winston's passing. He was one, if not, the most nicest humans on this planet. I used to train at his gym in Montreal and I ran into him most recently (about 10 years ago) at a gym in Pickering. I, like everyone wish all the family my sincerest condolences and this is a great man that will be missed.

We have lost one of the Greatest Ambassador for the Sport of Bodybuilding.
I AM DEEPLY SADDENED AND HURT ON THE NEWS OF HIS PASSING.

He truly was an Amazing human being. He allow me
Into his life his Bodybuilding Culture, his World, his deepest thoughts,
His Regrets, His Challenges,
And most of All, His Wishes and his VISION for the Sport of Bodybuilding.
Mr. Roberts was the most Genuine, Loving and Compassionate
Ambassador that the World of Bodybuilding has ever seen.
ACTUALLY, I GOING TO SAY Mr. ROBERTS WAS THE ONE OF THE MOST COMPASIONATE HUMAN BEING THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING.
Over last three years of his life, we traveled to many shows where we spent many hours together viewing and studying the world of Bodybuilding, through the eyes of Mr. Roberts. I felt very privileged and honored to be that close to “THE LEGEND MR. WINSTON ROBERT”. He called me the “The MIST”, his new secret weapon to improve the quality of his Cobourg Shows. Promote, Promote, Promote and a “Great Customer Experience”, for Judges, IFBB Pro’s, Athletes, Attendees and the Show Team & Workers.
Mr. Roberts respect everyone, everywhere he went and everyone he met. I was privileged to see the world “Through the eyes of Mr. Winston Roberts”, that was a very precious Gift that he gave to me. He quickly became a Father figure, Mentor, Friend, and a Champion of Champions. He always told all the Athletes no matter what place you come in, “You are ALL “CHAMPIONS”, in my eyes.
I Love and Respect you Dearly Mr. Winston Roberts, you have been an “Exemplary Human Being”, and showed me Love and Compassion. I will see you in the eternal bosom of God for all Eternity.
Your place in heaven is assured. “The Eternal Bodybuilding Stage in the Sky”. I Love YOU. The "MIST"
